I live in the northern part of Duhok .  The quake was more of a big bang. Like something slammed the ground all of a sudden with no Blast. It was one blow and stopped, not like shaking. Just one bang.

At around 7:40 at duhok-iraq I felt a very sudden and strong earthquake  unprecedented for our region. Usually earthquakes here are slow and last 30 seconds. This time it lasted less than 10 seconds but was very obvious
